Louisville, KY (October 11, 2024) – Alliant Management is excited to launch a series of expanded core service offerings designed to empower hospitals through dedicated financial expertise. These services aim to provide strategic support that allows hospitals to focus on what matters most – their patients.

Alliant Management currently offers a comprehensive suite of services designed to support community hospitals that includes revenue cycle optimization, staffing solutions, regulatory compliance, and leadership development. Beyond this, the new service offerings will provide hospitals with support on reimbursements, 340B pharmacy, payer contracting, physician services, and strategic pricing.

These new services are led by the following Alliant Management directors who have years of expertise in the healthcare industry:
Shawn Adams, the Director of Reimbursement, has more than 20 years of experience. He specializes in hospital reimbursement and revenue cycle issues, including patient finance, and patient registration. He is also Lean Six Sigma trained in process improvement. Shawn is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association where he previously served on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Chapter. Currently, he serves as treasurer for The Americana Community Center in Louisville, KY.
Jason Prokopik, the Director of 340B Pharmacy, has worked in pharmacy management for over 10 years focusing his efforts on improving the financial and operational performance of the firms he represented. Jason holds active pharmacy licenses in Indiana, Pennsylvania and Virginia, and is an active member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (“ASCP”). Jason holds an Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certificate.
Nick Ficklin, the Director of Payer Contracting, has more than 10 years of experience with data analytics and managed care contracting. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Indiana and a Fellow Healthcare Financial Management Association. Nick is a past president for the KY Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and currently serves on the HFMA Regional Executive Council. Nick is an active member of the AICPA, KY Society of CPA’s and Young Professionals Association of Louisville and is a Health Enterprise Network Fellow.
John Wortley, the Director of Physician Services, has more than 25 years of experience in medical group practice management and working with and developing various ambulatory service lines. For most of the past 20 years, he worked as an executive operations leader for a large health system and medical group in Kentucky and Indiana.
Michael Alessandrini, the Director of Strategic Pricing, has over 20 years of public accounting and consulting experience providing reimbursement services to health systems, acute care hospitals, psychiatric hospitals and residential treatment facilities. Additionally, he frequently consults with various hospital and healthcare associations (including IHA & KHA) supporting the need of their members. Michael has degrees from Miami University and Butler University. He is a member of the AICPA, Indiana CPA Society and Indiana Pressler Memorial Chapter of HFMA.
